What data we collect

We collect only what is needed to deliver your personalised plan.

Email address
Collected when you complete the questionnaire. Used to deliver your plan PDF and, if delivery fails, to alert us so we can resend manually.
Questionnaire answers
Your responses to questions about your parent's situation — including classification level, state, pension status, home ownership, and care management preferences. Used to personalise your plan and, in de-identified aggregate form, to improve our tools.
Payment information
Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your card number, expiry date, or CVV. We receive only a payment confirmation and a transaction reference from Stripe. Stripe's privacy policy applies to payment data: stripe.com/au/privacy
Benchmark research data
With your consent (given on the consent page before payment), your de-identified questionnaire responses are stored in our research database. This data is used to produce aggregate insights about how Australian families navigate aged care. No individual is ever identified in any publication or report.

What we do not collect

We do not collect your name, phone number, address, date of birth, or any health information about you or your parent. We do not use advertising tracking pixels, third-party analytics, or behavioural profiling tools.

How data is stored

Questionnaire answers and email addresses are stored in a PostgreSQL database hosted by Neon (ap-southeast-2, Sydney region). Data is encrypted at rest and in transit. Neon's infrastructure is hosted on AWS and complies with SOC 2 Type II standards.

Plan PDFs are generated on demand and delivered via Resend, an email delivery service. PDFs are not stored after delivery. Resend's privacy policy applies to email delivery data: resend.com/legal/privacy-policy

We do not sell, share, or transfer your personal data to any third party for marketing or commercial purposes.

How long we keep your data

Your email address and questionnaire answers are retained for as long as needed to deliver your plan and handle any support requests. If you request deletion, we will remove your data within 30 days. De-identified benchmark research data may be retained indefinitely as it cannot be linked back to you.

Your rights

Under the Australian Privacy Act 1988 (and its Australian Privacy Principles), you have the right to:

Access your dataRequest a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
